Giki and carbon emission scopes

What Carbon Emissions Scopes are covered with Giki? 

Giki Zero’s carbon footprint tool has been built following the GHG Protocol’s Scope 1,2 & 3 emissions framework but then adapted for an individual.

Scope 1: Direct emissions from owned or controlled sources is covered in footprints such as: cars, wood, gas, motorbikes.

Scope 2: Indirect emissions is covered by footprints including electricity.

Scope 3 Upstream is covered by footprints including flight and other non-owned transport such as public transport as well as various footprints covering purchases such as clothing, electricals, furniture and food.

Scope 3 Downstream is covered by footprints covering recycling, food waste and financial services with particular focus on investment portfolios and banking.
